Mr. Seibert has experience working with closely held and emerging businesses engaged in many endeavors, including manufacturing, services and oil and gas. Manufacturing businesses include metal stamping, forging, engine manufacture, rubber molding and electronics. Service businesses include executive search, architects, copier distributors and manufacturer’s representatives. Real estate clients include commercial developers and top end residential developers, hotels and golf courses. He also has experience in business succession planning. Mr. Seibert grew up among family owned businesses and graduated from Princeton University and Duke Law School. He has spoken at the Corporation, Banking & Business Law Institute and authored a chapter for a text on buying and selling businesses. He understands the importance of weighing business and legal considerations in seeking to achieve business objectives. He believes in visiting the place of business, understanding the culture of the company, knowing its products, and meeting the key people. When feasible, he walks the land and surveys the structures in connection with real estate projects, including oil and gas. His objective is to deliver pertinent, relevant and directed legal advice. He works most effectively as a counselor with business owners by discussing business as well as legal issues, and the respective weight to be given to each in the decision making process. His goal is to help make the client successful.
