Liquor Control Law
Our Liquor Control practice focuses on representing individuals,
corporations and organizations in the successful securing,
processing and issuance of a liquor permit with the Ohio Division
of Liquor Control. We assist clients in overcoming delays
in the application process. Our clients can depend on our
dedication and follow-through to ensure they obtain their
liquor permit in a timely fashion. We also defend clients
cited for violations of the Liquor Control Act before the
Ohio Liquor Control Commission, using trial skills producing
favorable results.

- Successfully negotiate and draft contracts on behalf
of both buyers and sellers of businesses and service establishments
- Prepare documents necessary for
obtaining a liquor permit
- Guide clients through the sometimes
confusing administrative process involved in pursuing a
liquor permit

in a timely manner so they can open their business or establishment
with a permit on schedule
- Assist permit holders in resolving sales, withholding,
unemployment and workers’ compensation tax delinquency
issues
- Zealously appeal the denial of a
new liquor permit, permit transfer, and/or permit renewal
- Defend
permit holders cited for violations under the Liquor
Control Act before the Ohio Liquor Control Commission
- Provide counsel on advertising, promotions and related
matters
- Represent clients in resolving various
business disputes and employee relations issues
